“My Home — My Chaos”: an exhibition by the legendary artist Petro Boyko to be held in Kyiv
Petro Boyko is a famous Ukrainian avant-garde artist, a naive artist. In many countries of the world, his original paintings give a feeling of polyphony of colors and harmony of forms.
Since 2012, Petro Boyko has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
All his exhibitions are events in the artistic life. They are awaited, they are always crowded. Art critics note a surge of interest in Petro Boyko’s works during wartime and explain this by the emotional uplift that his paintings give.
In Kyiv on May 5, the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management, together with the Ukrainian artist Petro Boyko and the Association of Art Critics, Experts, Appraisers and Restorers, will present an exhibition under the franchise “My Home is My Chaos”.
The official opening will take place at the NAKKKIM Gallery and will combine a presentation of paintings and a live performance.
“At the heart of the project is the artist’s philosophical idea: the chaos of everyday life as a model of cosmic order, and art as a way of understanding it,” the organizers write.
It should be noted that the brand project “My Home is My Chaos” under the franchise is invited to various galleries and exhibition spaces with exhibitions.
