Petro Boyko's exhibition project "My Home – My Chaos"
From 3 December to 18 January, a major exhibition project by the Ukrainian artist Petro Boyko – one of the brightest representatives of contemporary naive art – will take place. «My Home – My Chaos» is an exhibition that combines painting, installation, music, performance, and innovative multimedia formats.
Petro Boyko’s "Golden Series"
The opening will feature a presentation of Petro Boyko's Golden Series, a carefully selected collection of works representing the artist's most significant paintings from his thirty-year creative career.
Petro Boyko, together with a professional team of art historians, gallery owners, collectors, curators and lawyers, has conducted a thorough review of his archive, selecting works that have become milestones in his artistic evolution.
Each work included in the «Golden Series» will be certified with a special multi-level certificate of authenticity – a unique innovation for the Ukrainian art market.
Limited Multimedia Catalogue "My Home – My Chaos"
At the same time, a limited-edition multimedia catalogue, unique for the Ukrainian art scene, will be presented. This is not an ordinary printed publication, but a collector's item that serves as a personal key to access expanded multimedia content: new works by Petro Boyko, video collaborations with the band HLIBOROB, rare archival photos and documents, an author's comic book based on the artist's work.
The catalogue has a dynamic structure – materials are updated and supplemented in real time, so owners effectively receive a living archive.
Additional bonuses for catalogue owners include an original painting by the author, a personal letter-card to the viewer, and the right to attend all of the author's future projects free of charge.
Pre-opening and premiere of HLIBOROB's music video
A few days before the official launch of the project, there will be a closed pre-opening, during which HLIBOROB's new music video will be filmed in the exhibition space itself.
Invited guests will have the opportunity to be in the frame, witness the creative process, take a look behind the scenes of music and art production.
The highlight of the evening will be the premiere of the new song «Nachuvaysya».
13 December – during the crafts fair, there will be a performance by Petro Boyko dressed as Saint Nicholas. Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Ukrainian winter traditions combined with the contemporary artistic language of naive painting.
14 January – an intimate evening meeting with Petro Boyko
The artist will hold a chamber evening performance and interactive master class.
Participants will be able to talk to the author and art critics in a relaxed atmosphere, create personalised T-shirts together with the author, experience the creative process in a lively and festive atmosphere.
The project «My Home – My Chaos» revolves around the author's main idea: the chaos around us is a model of cosmic chaos, and the creative process is a way of understanding and organising it. This is a story about how domestic disorder becomes a scalable metaphor for the universe, and art becomes an act of organising reality.
