AAEVR contributed to the publication of a textbook on information and intellectual property

The Association of Art Historians, Experts, Appraisers and Restorers of Ukraine (AAEVR) acted as a partner in the preparation and publication of a new academic handbook by Bohdan Kryvolapov and Igor Zabara dedicated to the information society, the right to information and the protection of intellectual property. The publication is designed to provide readers with a solid understanding of the role of information in the modern world and the key legal mechanisms for its protection.

The Association joined the project by supporting both the content and the artistic component. Thanks to AAEVR’s involvement, the cover of the handbook features a work by Belgian artist Ulrike Bolenz, who generously granted permission for its use. Her visual concept reinforces the book’s underlying idea — a dialogue between knowledge, creativity and law.

The handbook is intended for everyone working with or interested in issues of information protection, the right to information, intellectual property and the impact of the digital environment on social relations. It will be useful for students, lecturers, lawyers, researchers, policy-makers and artists working at the intersection of creative industries, law and technology.

AAEVR plans to continue supporting projects that combine intellectual heritage, legal culture and contemporary art, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and the development of a responsible information space.
