The Olga Rapai-Markish Award

The Olga Rapai-Markish Prize is founded in honor of the outstanding Ukrainian sculptor, known for her ceramic works. The award is aimed at supporting and developing young talents in the field of art, especially those working with ceramics and sculpture.

This award is part of the wider project "Strength of Fragility", which aims to promote the cultural heritage of Olga Rapai-Markish and includes exhibitions, workshops, and other artistic events. The project consists of two parts: "The Power of Support" and "The Power of Roots", each of which demonstrates different aspects of Rapai-Markish's work and its influence on Ukrainian culture.

Thanks to the efforts of the Association of art critics, experts, appraisers and restorers of Ukraine, many works of Olga Rapai, which were considered lost, were restored and presented to a wide audience. The Olga Rapai-Markish Foundation is one of the main partners of this project, contributing to the preservation and popularization of her heritage.
