A great dreamer: a project about the naive artist Petro Boyko was presented in Kyiv
The feeling of energy that flowed from the paintings into the space of human life was physical. And, importantly, in such dramatic times, people smiled near these paintings. The author of the works is the naive artist Petro Boyko, born in Pryluky, Chernihiv region. His fate is quite turbulent. He has experienced many personal upheavals. He admits: he has done stupid things in life.
In the issue of "Antiquarian" there is an interview with the artist Petro Boyko, where he frankly, sometimes not without irony, talks about himself, and an essay dedicated to the master by Oleksiy Zotykov with the subtitle "chimeratherapy from Petro Boyko".
Painting for those who know life's priorities: about the unusual exhibition of Petro Boyko
The artist invited people with a difficult fate to the exhibition: homeless people who live on the streets and wander the world. Petro Boyko considers them the closest, true admirers of his work, capable of comprehending the intention of his paintings.
